One of my longest and dearest clients, Greg Moore, purchased the Maybeck in the Berkeley hills in the mid 90’s. Greg being an accomplished musician, artist, writer, bohemian, wanted a true live work environment. The History of the house is long and rich, and Greg wanted to honor this tradition. The best I can say of my and my team’s work at the home is that you would not even know we were there. While Maybeck was a modernist and appreciated change, we honored the house, only true architectural historians would know we were there.
