When the Bluhm project permits finally came through, the rains were upon us. The El Nino rains. We must have spent a month battling the weather. We had the biggest tarp I could find: we worked under it; the Bluhms lived under it. They were real troopers all the way until completion. It was a good thing, as the job evolved as we worked. Pam, David and I worked closely through every detail. The house grew in all directions--up, down, and out. We remodeled two bathrooms and added two more. We also created a finished room in the basement, all while preserving the original detailing. They were glad to see me go, but we were all very proud of the finished project. Click back to projects.
