The Grubb addition was a great opportunity as it involved not only a major addition, but also an exterior hardscape (including an outdoor fireplace) as well as an updated kitchen. The house had been wonderfully detailed architecturally and all the details were re-created in the new construction. The goal was that the house would appear as if it had been built in such a manner. From the mansard roof to the raised-panel walls, every detail was chosen to complement and match the original architecture. I really enjoyed working with the Grubbs, as I quickly found that they had an eye for good design. I enjoyed the challenge of meeting their expectations. Click back to projects.
